That idea was: Hey! Why not I complete my studies of two years in Singapore and join Kar Seong, Foo Seng, Wah San they all in KL when I am 20? As compared to "beating BAM", "joining BAM"... isn't this idea much more practical and able to kill two birds with one stone? I can finish my studies as everyone wants me to and continue to pursue my dream after that, since people like KS and WS also joined that squad when they were 19++!
I was thinking over this last night and I thought this was a good idea! Haha now I have another option! But when I told my mother the next morning, she didn't seem to agree with it, though she didn't object it strongly. She said if that is what's going to happen, am I not like FS and WS? When there was a chance for them to study, they chose to continue badminton in KL.
Hmm... Yea.. But then I was still not convinced to let this idea go. Only until later in the morning, when I was on my way to a friendly match. I guess my father heard it when I told my mom even though he didn't mention it (I talked to my mom when he was in toilet -_-). He asked FS about stuff at the place where they train, such as their salaries, accommodation, meals, training etc.. Oh hell, this beat the idea of joining them out of my mind..
5 players share RM2000 which means only RM400 per person and they are in KL!! How is it possible to be enough for them, when they have to pay for their own meals?! And the training, I thought, sounds like it sucks.. Really -.- haiz....
What I thought to be an alternate option, turned out to be a trap afterall... Look like I'd better study Uni after JC and forget about playing badminton...
People will say, "No, don't quit playing badminton because it will help you in your job in the future..." or whatever. Yea I know. But the thing is, I like to play badminton not because I like to play badminton (I know this sounds pretty confusing), but because I like the atmosphere of the tournaments, especially when there is a group of friends behind you, shouting for you. And also because I want to reach a higher level in my badminton career. That's why if you ask me to play badminton recreationally, oh forget it...
