Second stage of challenge - GPP

I am skipping the first stage - PI, since it wasn't really difficult. In fact, it was nothing compared to what I am going through now.

This question kept popping out in my mind: Why is our group so awesome, but our GPP so screwed?" Perhaps, it has nothing to do with the people in the group...

At the very beginning of GPP, all of us had come to a consensus that we are embarking on a project related to environmental conflict. Be it related to conservation of a natural habitat, conservation of biodiversity, etc... This was not easy at all. We had been, in fact, are still changing our topic (this is the last week before the deadline for GPP), from environment to foreign worker back to environment again. Just within the topic of environmental conflict itself, we had spent hours and hours researching on different case studies (TR1 AND TR2): Allagash Waterway, Chek Jawa, Sembawang Beach, Pulau Ubin, etc. We even tried to move on to animals: Hornbill, Thrasher, etc. But none of these was approved by Mr Koh.

Now, our group is steeped in despair, with no direction, no motivation, nothing...

Our teacher met us today, wanting to find out what has gone wrong for our group. He was being frank with us, telling us that: he thinks that we are trying to 'fish' ideas info CS etc out of him; he was also frustrated because our group seems to be not interested, we cannot answer the questions thrown by him, our GPP very vague, we are not clear of what we are doing (though he said he wants to have a consult with us which he can be engaged in it); and the deadline is around the corner while our group still has nothing -> zero...

Perhaps we are really very not engaging during the consultation, always have a blank face, that's why he thought we didn't do our research well and are trying to 'coax' the ideas out of him. I have no idea whether this is true, but at least I know that that's not what I want. Even though he did give us some ideas (CSs), but I always told my group that as long as there is other things that we can do, I'd rather not do what is given by him. Perhaps this is just a matter of pride, I don't want him to think that our group is pathetic, our group is useless, nor do I want his sympathy.

True, our group has been insisting on this topic "Environment", and when we really can't do anything about it, I know that we should not be so stubborn, we should just choose another topic and move on. What he said today was really demoralising. He gave us this idea on "bullies", not forgetting to add: "...this is environment also, school environment..." I really couldn't stand the sarcasm...

Everyone of us in the group is really dying now.. ARGGH! What should we do?! Someone gotta save us... Please...

Sigh... Tomorrow is GP CT and I am still blogging... Pathetic...

Argh~ Good luck for tomorrow GP..

Chickens..............

I wonder they are real *** or just pretending to be like that. In Sec 3/4, I always got teased by my classmates as someone from kampung. Yea, I know Malaysia, as compared to Singapore, is not as advanced and high standard of living. But to see those as characteristics of kampung, it is just rather ridiculous..

The gang in my secondary classes (LKY, joke machine, the beast, Ivan, trying-to-thinking, yuck, etc) likes to call me "kampung kia" whenever they got the chance. Sigh... I had tried to explain to them that I am not but it was to no avail :( Well, I guess they aren't really that dumb. They just think that it is funny when they make fun of me. (yea I heard that I am damn fun to be bullied -.-)

These people seem to like chicken a lot too -.- because they just can't stop asking me to "go feed my chicken"..............

Or "how's your chicken..." "chicken die already..." etc etc -.-

okay fine...

At first I thought this is just something that my classmates do to make fun of me... But today, I realised that there do exist some Singaporeans who think that Malaysia is like kampung except KL.... I couldn't help giving this face =.= plus countless lines ||||||...

I was foaming badly really... Wondering should I laugh or go emo at one corner...

It was a windy Sunday morning. I couldn't believe that I had to wake up so early on Sunday morning for school work!!! (just to digress, I guess I have "Sunday" sinus :P) Yea you know what, that's all GPP's fault!!

Anyway, Puppy researched on some endangered bird species on Pulau Ubin for our TR2 and he managed to find one: the Red Jungle Fowl. To make it simple, chicken. wild CHICKEN. That was how we started on the topic of CHICKEN...

When I told them how my ex-classmates keep calling me "kampung kia", Warnt and Stella's replies made me foam, literally: "Are you not?"... What was more "deadly" was their "innocent" tone... Argh kill me pls... LOL

Though it's hard to admit, this is something funny (or should I say, dumb) thing that happens in my school life. Personal attack seems to be the most part of the idea behind it (LOL), but it's worth to be recorded down under the よるのたいよう.. wakawaka XD

ps: I expected my 18th birthday to be a special. Instead, it turned out to be rather horrible TT^TT FML

yea I know that I know nothing else...

This was really pissing me off! So can't play piano is my fault?! Noob in bridge is my fault?! Being good JUST in badminton is also my fault?!

"Why you can't play piano?..."

"...because this is not in the court, not badminton..."

"...why xxx piano so pro and you can't play..."

...

...

I finally couldn't stand it and fought back, "yea that's why my badminton can own everyone here!"

Why not? When he is learning piano from young, what I did was ONLY badminton, nothing else. Not like the privileged kids, being able to revolve around music and stuff, badminton was the only thing that I thought would follow me for life. Spending so much time on badminton, can't even own the people here would be a real disgrace.

Yea I know, other than badminton, I know nothing else. Can't play music, can't entertain people, ... I am just a useless person without badminton. That's why I have been trying hard to learn other things (of course I do like them).

I do realise this and I realised this a bit quite late (from my POV, though a lot of people might not agree with me). But there is nothing much I can do. Time can't be reversed and that's what make it precious to us.

A lot of people think that I have everything, being unable to do one or two things won't kill me. Being good in studies and all, a bright future is already paved for me.

Honestly, good in studies? I doubt it. Perhaps I am just a bit better than some of them, but it is nothing to be happy about.

And what's with the have-everything nonsense? When what I know is only..... Yea you know what it is...

Now think of it, what does good in studies help in my relationship with people? what does badminton help in my relationship with people? Yea none...

So I only can play badminton, so what?! I am useless, so what?!

Like my status and I'll tell you:
1. How we met:
2. My first impression of you:
3. What I like about you:
4. Favorite memory with you:
5. But if you like this you must put it as your status so I can like it.

This brought back memories! :D

“4. Favorite memory with you: h'ng! need me to repeat? water+saliva to my hair and face!!!。。。”

“‎4. HAHAHA I ALSO REMEMBER THIS HAHAHA I WAS SO SORRY BEC SOMEONE WAS TELLING A JOKE COULDN'T HELP TO LAUGH MA.. YOU TOOK YOUR REVENGE AFTER THAT ALSO HAHAHA” chengyuen

“‎4. Lai Joon Keat laa... u laa... stop drinking water 1st la... mine just water. urs have saliva leyy!” irene

“4. hahahaha bec the joke was really really funny no time swallow the water then PUUU- all came out HAHA even until today i still can't help laughing lol” chengyuen

“what joke lai de... u laugh bcoz of me oni rite? u dun even rmbr the joke! spoiled my image without 意义” irene

“oh btw you put this under "FAVOURITE memory" leh HAHA” chengyuen

“it's favourite memory btwn u and me oni maa... nothing else... haha” irene
